Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  2. Lightly grease a 10-inch flan dish.
  3. Peel the pears, cut them in half, remove seeds and cut them into 1/4 inch slices
  4. Place the sliced pears in a saucepan with the water, and cook over a medium-low heat for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, whipping cream and cinnamon.
  6. Drain the pears and arrange in the greased flan case.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the top of the pears and bake for about 40 minutes or until set.
  8. Serve warm
